Artist Statement

Art, to me, is a meditation on seeing — not merely what exists before the eyes, but what resonates within the soul. Each stroke of graphite, each sweep of charcoal, becomes a conversation between light and shadow, between the visible and the felt.

I believe that realism is not about copying reality, but about revealing the poetry hidden within it. When I render a portrait, I am not capturing a face — I am translating the quiet stories etched in every curve, the unspoken emotions dwelling in the eyes, the passage of time written upon skin.

Through my work, I explore the delicate dance between observation and interpretation. My hands follow what my heart understands. In the stillness of creation, I find both questions and answers — each artwork a mirror reflecting not just the subject, but the infinite mystery of perception itself.
